Exam 1:  Thursday, September 29, 2010:  9:10am

This test is OPEN BOOK, and open notes.

The exam will address the content of:

1.  The content of each lecture class session (the things I actually say/said in class) up to this point in the quarter, and the powerpoint presentations of:

Introduciton: Lecture 1

Lecture 2: Floors

Lecture 3:  Ceilings

Lecture 4:  Walls

Lecture 5:  Wood

Lecture 6:  Wood Framing & Stone

2.  Pages 1 - 52,  182 - 185, and 220-228 of "Sustainable Building Systems and Construction for Designers".

The exam will be open book and open note.

3.  The contents of the short videos presented in classes.

The exam will be multiple choice and short written answer type questions.  The questions will not require you to know minutia, but you will need to know a good amount of the straight forward factual information that I have presented. 

You will need to go over each powerpoint show at least two times if you wish to truly 'know' the contents.
