I have run across a very frustrating problem in the drawing canvas & grid in Word. I first noticed that a feature was broken in Word 2010. I was unable to find a workaround, so I continued using Word 2007, which does not have the problem. With the release of Word 2013, I was hoping that the broken feature would get fixed. But it has not.
